The “What Drives You?”
scholarship program funded by East Idaho Jiffy Lube owners has awarded $3,500
in scholarships to two East Idaho high school students for the 2019-2020 school
year.
Alyssa Farnes of Thunder
Ridge High School is the overall scholarship recipient and will receive a
$2,500 scholarship award on behalf of Jiffy Lube. Caleb Chandler of Idaho Falls
High School will be awarded $1,000 as runner-up.
Jiffy Lube will also
donate $500 to the Eastern Idaho high school with the most student applicants.
For the 2019-2020 school year, Rigby High School submitted the most essays.
The “What Drives You?”
scholarship program is open to all high school students in Eastern Idaho (Idaho
Falls, Pocatello, Blackfoot, American Falls, Ammon and Chubbuck), regardless of
test scores or grades.
Jiffy Lube’s local
owners understand how important it is for communities to come together during
this time. Jiffy Lube is now accepting essays for the 2020-2021 school year.
